NorthBay Health takes great pride in investing time in developing the nursing profession for all nurses and future nurses. We recognize the importance of providing clinical opportunities to ensure nursing excellence and the delivery of safe, quality care.
All nursing students entering NBHC must be currently enrolled in a nursing program. These include: Nursing Practicum, Registered Nursing, Nursing (ADN/ASN, BS, MS, CNL, PhD, DNP).
Nursing Clinical Rotations and Practicums
NBMC takes great pride in investing time in developing the nursing profession and continuing education for all nurses and future nurses. We recognize the importance of providing clinical opportunities to ensure nursing excellence and the delivery of safe, quality care. NBMC offers a variety of clinical experiences in both the in-patient acute care and intensive care units as well as observation opportunities in several unique settings.

During your time at NBHC you will gain a valuable and worthwhile experience with our nursing staff. We value your dedication to the nursing profession and wish you the best while you are on campus and in your journey as a future nurse.
Before You Begin
You must be approved by your college or university to complete your clinical rotation at NBHC. Clinical rotations and practicums are only approved if they are done as part of your nursing program.
Please have your clinical placement coordinator contact the NorthBay Health Student Coordinator to proceed with your request
Start of the Approval Process
- Please review the Student Orientation Manual and complete the assessment located in myClinicalExchange prior to beginning your rotation.
- All students must upload health and safety compliance documents in their student portal through myClinicalExchange. Your clinical placement coordinator will direct you in this process. Health and safety documents will be reviewed for currency and compliance.
After Approval is Confirmed
