Orthopedic Surgeon Profile

My father was a doctor and I was always in awe of his ability to help people and make a difference in their lives, so I always knew I wanted to be a physician. The clinical faculty I trained under was amazing and influenced my choice to go into hand surgery. In addition to my one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity medicine, I obtained an additional fellowship in upper extremity trauma in Bern, Switzerland.

I perform all of the latest procedures available in my field. I feel it is important for a surgeon to have the right balance of clinical experience to keep their skills and knowledge current. I have been practicing long enough so that I have seen just about every imaginable condition, yet I am current on all of the latest procedures and techniques.

Most of my surgeries are scheduled at NorthBay Surgery Center VacaValley in Vacaville, which is a beautiful, state-of the-arts facility. Patients should choose NorthBay because there is nothing that I can't do locally, just as well or better, than the academic surgeons can do in San Francisco. At NorthBay, patients are more than numbers, appointments, and medical records; our patients are our neighbors and community members. The VacaValley Wellness Center environment for rehabilitation is a great fit for my patients. It is very important to me that my patients can comply with their care regimens whether they have surgery, injections, or more conservative treatment.
